Havurah Shir Hadash

Havurah Shir Hadash is a Jewish Renewal community located in Ashland Oregon. A relatively new branch of Judaism, Jewish Renewal is a worldwide, transdenominational movement grounded in Judaism’s prophetic and mystical traditions. Havurah Shir Hadashi is rather unique in that it is one of the very few Jewish Renewal communities to have it's own dedicated synagogue.

This site serves as an introduction to the community, its synagogue, services, Hebrew school and adult education, monthly calendar, and special events and functions. This site also serves as a very robust collection of Jewish Renewal resources including links, and essays, including a large collection of writings by Jewish Renewal's founder Rabbi Zalman Schacter and the Havurah's rabbi, David Zaslow.
